Meeting of the Ukrainian Women’s League and the Ukrainian Women’s League of America
On August 9, the leadership of the Ukrainian Women's Union met with Marianna Tretiak, Chair of the National Public Policy Committee of the Ukrainian National Women's League of America (UNWLA).
The organizations discussed new joint plans, projects and assistance to Ukraine.
"We are grateful to the Ukrainian National Women's League of America for their visit in time of war and support. We are grateful to our sisters from overseas for their great help to Ukrainian defenders! Today, our most important task is to focus our joint efforts on bringing the Victory closer and helping the Ukrainian people," said Oryslava Sydorchuk, Head of the Ukrainian Women's Union.
The Ukrainian National Women's League of America founded by five women from New York in 1925. Their main goal was to inform the world about Ukraine, support the homeland financially and morally, and preserve Ukrainian heritage and culture. The Ukrainian National Women's League of America continues to fulfill this mission to this day.
We are sincerely grateful for our fruitful cooperation!
