With God in my heart and prayer for the soldiers and the Victory of Ukraine

On May 10, the day of commemoration of St. Stephen, Metropolitan Epifaniy of Kyiv and All Ukraine led a Divine Liturgy at the Cathedral of the Nativity of Christ in Volodymyr, which was attended by hundreds of parishioners. The leadership of the NGO Union of Ukrainian Women took part in a joint prayer in the princely city of Volodymyr for our soldiers and the Victory of Ukraine.

The head of the NGO Union of Ukrainian Women, Orystlava Sydorchuk, and her deputy, Vira Tchaikovska, greeted His Beatitude on behalf of the organization and wished him every success in his selfless and generous work for the good of Ukraine and the glory of God, strength to unite all Orthodox Christians, and peace of mind in the face of various challenges.

Also, during his visit to Volyn, the Primate honored the defenders of the Motherland, volunteers, government officials, and journalists with high church awards and certificates.

The service ended with a prayer for Ukraine and a wish for many years to come. Ukraine, like the Orthodox Church, is currently facing significant challenges, during the 9-year war. We thank God for leading us together with the Primate of the OCU to the Victory of Good!
